The last time I cared what English leaders thought about American politics was before 1776...
"London Mayor Sadiq Khan is warning the American people against electing Trump. “What I’d say in a respectful way to Americans is: I don’t think you realize that the rest of the world is watching because we’ve got skin in the game."

Well, I don't care much for the state of American politics - or at least the quality and values of American politicians - either.
That said, this Mayor of London is an idiot. You don't say that sort of thing until after the election. Because if the candidate you slammed ends up winning, you now have a powerful enemy. And payback is a b___h.
THEY have skin in the game? Just an affirmation of how much the rest of the world relies on the USA. Even though they rarely if ever acknowledge that fact.

.
To the extent that they have 'skin in the game' - much of it is that they are so corrupt and so parasitic on the US, that they fear exposure and fear having to grow up and act responsibly.

The mayor of London is hated by most Brits but London is not really part of Britain anymore.

Unfortunately, we have plenty of cities - and a couple states - that are no longer part of the USA.gamekeeper wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 7:17 pm The mayor of London is hated by most Brits but London is not really part of Britain anymore.
