Left vs Right (should be Authoritarian vs Libertarian)

Post by AJMD429 »

.

The fundamental differences between 'left' and 'right' explain things like "Why is the CoVid thing so 'political' - we know the virus doesn't care who you voted for...???"

The REASON is the fundamental difference between today's 'left' and 'right' or 'liberal' vs 'conservative'....

The 'left' (liberal, progressive, Democrat, or whatever term is used this week):

Driven by fear versus confidence, so OF COURSE respond to 'pandemics' differently
Believes the ends justify the means so lying and violence are ok
Believes some people are better than others so let the better ones control the world
Judges a person by superficial things – skin, genitalia, occupation, income, orientation, which church they attend
Assess life achievement and happiness by income vs what they contribute towards society
Worship and suck at the teat of 'big corporations' all while claiming the opposite
Has a world view based on superficial things – via European vacations, and selective interactions with 'woke' people
Do not use religion as a guide, so have no foundational moral beliefs - relying on peer pressure to define 'good'
Do not use history to learn from, so assume they know more than previous generations could possibly know
Have no understanding of the Constitution or Bill of Rights, or why the U.S. is completely unique in history
Have no understanding of 'passive' versus 'active' rights, so are unable to govern without force and violence
Do not understand economics, so believe in magical theories that have been completely discredited
Think it is OK to discriminate against people depending on their race and gender and orientation and religion, etc.
Feel election fraud is OK as long as their side 'wins'
Use virtue signaling instead of actions as a way to maintain stature in the community
Their leaders successfully uhe Cloward-Pivens strategy because their followers suffer the Dunning-Kruger effect
Have elevated the 'double-standard' to an art-form - saying 'follow the science' yet doing the opposite
Are far more likely to think they understand something yet far less likely to actually do so
Believe a person or corporation should succeed based on their lobbying or political influence vs social contribution
Say they are for 'the greater good' yet push for policies that enrich the wealthy and permanently entrench the poor
Live in a cartoon world where getting hit in the head with a skateboard is no big deal so self-defense then bad
Would have no public support were it not for their friends in the 'news' media willing to distort and lie for them
Have zero basis for their positions, other than calling detractors 'racists' or saying they hate baby seals
Think 'mean tweets' are worse than colluding with China and Russia
Grudgingly admit they are 'socialists' but insanely and ironically think conservatives are 'fascists'
Evidently have no ability for self-awareness or introspection, if they don't realize THEY are the violent fascists
Routinely accuse their opponents of what THEY do ('Russian collusion' and 'election fraud' for example)
Feel that to understand something is to endorse it, so they stay intentionally uninformed about things like guns, etc., that they want to regulate using government force - then they accuse those who actually DO know about such things as being 'biased'.

How on Earth can we 'progress' as a society when there are 'progressives' who behave this way, claiming some intellectual and moral 'high ground' as if that somehow means their ravings make sense...???

You can't even have a rational conversation with them, because if they are the delicate snowflake type, it hurts their feelings, and if they are just sincere living-back-in-the-JFK-era Democrats the cognitive dissonance you introduce causes them to melt down, and most often, they simply attack you as a Trump-supporting 'fascist' who hates the environment, and is a racist homophobe...

Plus, when distortion or outright lying fails to serve their needs, they use EQUIVOCATION to smooth over their disastrous public policy positions - even when they admit their policies are 'imperfect' ( ) they act as if the conservative alternative is so horrible that they have to vote for the lesser-evil. Whatever you point out the Democrats do, they respond with "....well, that may be true, but Trump was even worse...." even when it is absurd. The blatant election fraud of 2020 was clear-cut, and when confronted with it the 'progressives' just say "....well, we've had election fraud forever, and the Republicans are just as bad.... What a pathetic response, and one showing complete denial of reality.

We see-saw and ratchet down the diamond-shaped political spectrum map, in large part due to the fact that the media narrative is that we are facing a 'left versus right' one-dimensional political battle, when in fact the political landscape is FAR more complex and multi-dimensional. https://www.friesian.com/quiz.htm - if we want to distill it to something simplistic for the masses to digest, it should be 'authoritarian versus libertarian' - NOT 'left versus right'. Until we grasp that fundamental concept, we will continue to fight left-wing fascism with RINO candidates who buckle at the first sign of stress.
