My heaven’s why would someone pick a house in the boondocks to break into when they could pick one in the middle of a neighborhood with all those potential witnesses around.

And “surveillance” cameras in a lonely area. Very strange. In that aforementioned neighborhood most homes have cameras anymore. But that makes perfect sense.
