My industry (chemicals) has been going through the worst Force Majeure incident I have seen in my 33 years due to the ice storm and deep freeze in Texas in February. Nothing but 12+ hour days, every day and part of the weekends, for the last 6 weeks. I decided I needed something to help relax me. So I put together a playlist of my favorite soundtracks to play in the background while I was working. Here are some of them:
"The Last of the Mohicans"
"Braveheart"
"Dances with Wolves"
"Quigley Down Under"
"The Last Samurai"
I have the CD's for all of these but bought the music downloads over the years to be able to listen to these when traveling. I went to add one more of my favorite soundtracks, the one from "Gettysburg". This used to be available for free on Amazon Music, but they pulled it. So I went to buy it. Fortunately I looked at the tracks before doings so - and realized they weren't the same.
I was specifically looking for track 12 - "Dixie". It is simply a beautiful rendition of the music. Nope, wasn't there.
I think they pulled this because, well, heaven-forbid someone hear "Dixie" played!

BTW, I compare the soundtrack version of "Dixie" with Boge Quinn's version of the "Battle Cry of Freedom" - both simply beautiful and moving!
Stupid snowflake crybabies!!!
