I would love to blame stupid people, but....
IIRC at the time the hospitals were stacking them in the hallways, and they were sending people home to wait it out. People that lived in nursing homes probably had to go home.
The one thing I remember is that the Hospital Ship was sent there to house non-covid patients, and they didn't use it.
One of the recent bad flu years had about 70,000 deaths. This SARs had racked up millions so far. Sure, it's being politically weaponized...and darn them for that....but it's still a serious disease.

it's serious for some people. like us for example. the kill rate is less than 1% overall for the majority of the population, and maybe 1% for us'ns.

the thing is, the healthscare industry is paying doctors to write cov as cause of death, and giving a 35,000 bonus for every ancient person they ventilate, which turns out is pretty much an execution. so the numbers coming into the fakenews rooms is based on lies.

so, if i come down with double pneumonia and then go into a hospital where the wuhaan is floating around, and i die in there, the cause of death will be cov with no mention of pneumonia. that's what has been going for the whole year. it is a murder of the most vulnerable.

this is what is coming home to roost in cuomo's in basket. he killed around 15000 people by mandating that they be put in nursing homes. the one making note of that is the state's attorney general.
