I sent a message to Governor Abbott this morning.

First, I thanked him for his leadership in Austin as I am mighty proud of our Governor.

Then I encouraged him to do everything he can to make Texas a Second Amendment Sanctuary State.

Whether you’re talking a nation or a state or a county or city, the pattern seems to be the same.

A group of people starts up life in a new area, and works really hard and takes a lot of risks to set things up to reward hard work and risk taking. For a few generations people there are especially rugged and high achieving. In many cases they build great things like the United States itself.

But before long, once things have calmed down, the way has been paved for people who don’t want to work as hard and aren’t willing to take risks, but want to take advantage of the great situation created by others.

Without either having participated themselves in the making of the place, or having education as to the history of its formation, those new people in their own ignorance and greed, wind up making changes to make life easier for themselves and give them advantage over the people who tend to be the hard-working and risk-taking people.

Pretty soon you’ve gone from free market capitalism to police state socialism.

When we allowed the government to take over educating our children the battle began to be lost, because they know no history pertinent to their own ‘privilege’.

Back in the 60s there was what they called Block Busting. A group of Minorities would pool money and make an offer for a home that was maybe double what it was worth in the hopes the residents would be disgusted and want to move out...often for prices well under market value.
