Within the confines of her particular discipline, and on any school or educational campus, she may rightfully and respectfully expect to be addressed as "Doctor."

She has never claimed to be a Doctor of anything else.

There's no reason to take anything away from her that she has earned, neither is there any reason to give her any more than she has earned.

The slimestream news is pushing the Doctor title. Most Pharmacists have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree as it is the lowest level degree you can get now. A lot of Lawyers have a Juris Doctor degree. Nurse Practitioners, especially the ones with ARNP degrees, are PhD holders. Lots of people have Degrees which can legitimately entitle them to use Doctor. I personally find it to be a bit on the side of being disingenuous. That is because I am in one of the Medical Professions, and MD and DO degrees are the Doctors there. Just my viewpoint.

As one who has had plenty of years of education including a medical doctor degree, I would not deny her the use of the term “doctor”. However from what I have seen with regards to her political integrity, I would probably also confer upon her the degree of “political whore”.

It would be more correct to refer to her as a Doctor of Education Philosophy, thus the Ph.D.
