Wow! GK wins AGAIN.....One of the "kick in the butt" I give myself is the Model 75 Winchester I could have had for 300....nothing more than a poor man's model 52...I figure out something for good ole GK......

Geeze, talk about picture day.....I saw most of Jay's yesterday on Facebook...mom showed them to me.....I miss the family get togethers and slamming down alcohol. Everyone is either dead or moved away. I guess my wife's family is now my family...dunno....it's all just another reason why I feel like Jimi Hendrix....."life is but a joke".

I don't care what Fred says....(I'll change it a little)......gourmet cooking is for gay men and it's true the best cooks in the world are men...it's just that they don't look like real men.....they are usually fat slobs with an earring, half bald and a scrawny pony tail.

Liberalism is not for me in any fashion....I hold to the age old tradition of "a man is a man" and anyone else is not a man. The think tanks are always preparing 50 years in advance.....too much population, gathered closely, brings abnormalities and gene mutations. I have nothing against gay people...that's their business....they can't help it and it's all caused by overpopulation.....same way the think tanks knew back in the sixties that a bigger and more intense problem was coming our way...that's all being played out in the looting and destruction of the inner cities and we whiteys just sit back and do nothing in fear of going to the big house.

It's coming and it's coming soon...within 20 years the population of mankind is going to be reduced 2/3 's down to about 1.5 billion people. The survivors will be the ones with guns, food, and shelter..........and common sense.

OS, I can understand why the California squirrels require water 🌵 however our squirrels are more likely to need webbed feet... ☔

Birdman, I am looking forward to my early Christmas present for winning 75, I'm not worried what it is as long as it is not liberal approved....

I don't know why so many cooks are men when nearly everyone talks about their mothers cooking :?: I can't remember my dad cooking anything except for putting chestnuts on the stove and cutting cheese... :)

Drove home from Shirley's on the South coast in the first snow of winter. Probably will be all gone in the morning..

I don't care who cooks, just so long as it's WHAT I want.
Dad always said- show me a Mexican wearing high heels with hairy arm pits and I'll show you a taco belle.
What I don't get is why is every cook nowadays a walking billboard of tattoos? Look at the cooking shows, everyone has ink. I don't care but that makes me wonder why.

Decided to load some 28s, get the MEC Grabber going and it just stopped like its jammed. So I start trying to troubleshoot but as the tree said, I'm stumped. Had to walk away.

Dang! Gamekeepers dad cut the cheese too!!!! Looks to me like Gunny has competition.....

On to Old Savages push on mental stimulation.....there's NO way society can change this fast...cultural changes are slow and usually mirror advances in technology. So that means the b.s.thats been jammed down our throats in the last 15 years means the left is getting desperate to institute these changes before whatever-is-coming comes so they don't get caught with their pants down......or should I say "skirts" down as most men wear skirts now.

New NEW episode of Yellowstone is about the start....pull the phone plugs!!!!!! NOW!!!!

Well, it seems JBird is very astute but … I am going to have to put things in perspective here. With a degree in Psychology and a life long student of relevant history and migrations of the folks that actually formed the basis of America that everyone is rushing too, I would like to introduce some observations - drum roll please.

Now in our heritage bold genes move west. Others make up stories. It has been that way since the origins in the Middle East. Now on the other side, think China, bold genes move west.

Those who would seek to control the world have put the most emphasis on the meeting ground and some are buying it. So, we here engage the battle while others leave or shrink away and make up their personal excuses. So, don’t sit in the safe kingdoms and be lecturing me.

Especially if you don’t know how to cook the essentials.

Now don’t make me come over there with a lot more explanation 😎

Right! Only the bold AND intelligent would risk a relatively safe, but turbulent Europe for the promising but unknown land. I could not do it with my current mindset. I do feel safe, confident, and secure in my kingdom.....I worked all my life to be this way...independent of the majorities of civilized life.....

The only thing people know is what they read and what they are told...precious few have traveled the world and lived for awhile with each culture for the time needed, of which is impossible, therefore we read. Interpretations come from the mind in which involved your first 10 years of life, some say 5 years....believe it was Karl Marx who said five years.

I'll take it here in my kingdom for the truth....I'll let the others tell their lies and deceit.

To me, in these times, any security is an illusion. There is none. Certainly not financial. Well, for normal people. The security of this countries whole economy is shaky to say the least.
There is just no way to keep yourself completely safe and secure. If they pull your name out of a hat, they can ruin you pretty easy.

Hey Jayster! Yep...you be right......but.......I won't let myself have a defeatist attitude......it's true, if they want us, it ain't nuttin for them to do...but.....we are way down on the list, being peons with hunting guns.

It'll be a microbe which will lead to many deaths and unfortunately, many hungry stomachs of which they will promise to fill when you lay down your arms.......then they will systematically hunt down the sparsely situated outcasts like me and you and take us out one by one......

As most people are just out for themselves we will fail to bind together for a stronger force and in time AOC will rule. The partisans will fight but because of modern technology, most will be eliminated with the survivors living in the subways and deep in the mountains.....

There we were at the golf course with the holiday heathens ignoring the regular rules of order. Duke, the Vietnamese guy running the place was relatively helpless until Jose arrived to marshall and restore some order. I put up $20 for a three hole shoot out with these three college guys. The one who thought he was out won $10 with the last hole and And long drive prize. Nolan took the $10 three hole score prize. I wasn’t in it but at 74 beat them on the 3 hole score, I resorted to playing golf, fairways and greens. Duke has two girl friends that don’t like each other. I’ll have delve further into how he manages this. ;-)

Interesting observations on the state of the world and history from you fellows.

OS, the British isles are being battered by storm Arwen, red weather warnings up north yellow warnings down south where I am, drove home last night in a snowstorm but nothing serious just rare in the south of England at this time of year. In the event of storm warnings it is tradition to seek shelter in a well stocked pub...

Hey GK,

Out oldest son sent a semester in Lancaster, England when he was in college. The day he got there, he said the place was in a panic. He couldn't figure out why, and then realized it was because there was an inch or two of snow on the ground. :D

Yep that would do it.... schools closed, trains stopped running, thousands missing work.
I used to live on the Welsh border where winters were more like winters but 1" of snow will cause panic in most big cities. I once had to travel from the border to Birmingham where I was on s college course, when I got there the local guys couldn't make it....

Hahaha......Chelsea tractors. :D
It's kind of the same here. Compared to a few decades ago, everything is either 4 or all wheel drive. Most vehicles are quite good in the snow, but people just drive worse and worse all the time.
Somehow, they equate slow with safe. When, in reality, the two aren't always related.

I don't worry too much about the condition of the highway it's the condition of the other drivers that scares me.... so few people get much practice on driving in snow and on ice that they are lethal behind the wheel.

Last week for a laugh I ordered a "LETS GO BRANDON" sticker for my car, yesterday I received 10  got to find some interesting places to stick them...

"Considerate?".....people here take that as a weakness and will steam roll ya. I still try though.....yea, you'd never knew I had it in me.

OK, Duke runs the golf course and Jose is obviously the grounds keeper.....who picks up the trash?

Snowstorm in former Viking land? Here's the problem and not many people have it worse than me and possibly Gunny.....in Jay Land most people are well aware of how to drive in the snow and Old Savage land doesn't get enough of snow. Here, we have many college educated white people who have lusted to get away from populated areas so they moved here and HAD to get some kind of a SUV with million wheel drive because, "oh! We live in the country"

Well, it USED to be the country and these no common sense liberals think that their million wheel drive Lexus will still stop on a dime and can take take a 30 degree curve at 45 just all leads to lots of crashes.

On my list of very few friends is the cousin of Targetmasters owner who owns a body shop....Fenza Auto Body in Chester.....(boy, I can hear those keyboards clicking away)........after a light snowfall the lot fills up with lots of loot coming his way.

The back roads here are nothing but paved over wagon trails.....lots of dips and turns with lots of dips driving.

COLD and windy......mom wants to go to Costco and as usual, she needs an escort. LOVE COSTCO......zero riff-raff......no one roaming the aisles looking to steal a pocketbook off of someone's cart. I just don't "get it" with the "no complaining" coming from decent folk......NEAR EVERYDAY, groups of the others drive up from the hood 10 miles away, walk into the plush Acme supermarket, fill up their carts.....and walk out........and no one stops them or calls the police. Employees are told, "let them go and DO NOT CONFRONT."

Have people become that weak......or scared....or both......

I once left campus in a blizzard. As I got to the on ramp for I 25 the highway patrol closed the gate behind me. I made it to Colorado Springs, 122 miles without a problem. Now I have found the best way to drive in the snow- STAY HOME. Never an accident that way.

That reminds me of the little old lady I once followed from Trinidad to Pueblo, 85 miles her left turn signal was on!! She was driving 85mph though!

Absolutely...stay home! After a large snowfall...say a foot or better, I'll be at the end of the driveway where most of the snow is from snow plows and such and I'll be plowing away and I need to go on the road for obvious reasons.....most of the time I have to stop and let cars go by.....the occasional snow plow is uunderstandable but 99 times out of a hundred ill look at the driver and it's someone who is just driving around making it worse for the ones who NEED to be on the road.

Another hour or a bit more and the crowd at Costco will be nuttin'....go in and get what we need and scat!----0014 and 9/16' 's.

Well..... put the Jeep up today.
Got the garage all turned around and converted to "winter mode". I got one gutter cleaned on the garage, but the other side and the house are froze in hard. Hoping later this week I can get em cleaned. May have waited too long.
Have to change the oil in the truck. That should get me through till spring without having to do any oil changes.
Then I will have to do some work on the sled. I'm hoping any major snow holds off for a while. I have a bunch of work I want to do at the lot. I did manage to get all the blinds, stand seats, and the shack picked up and hauled home yesterday.

I'm usually out to plow very early, a lot of times out before the township guys. I push my snow across the street. Sure I have some clean up to do after the road department goes through but no big deal. The guy that does my neighborhood is an old high school buddy, he has one of my puppies too!
Speaking of puppies, Parker got a clean bill of health today, 3 boosters, negative tick born diseases.

You live on a dead end street? I live in a dead end one horse town...post office and a beauty salon and a lot of liberals who are very nice ..at least to your face they are...get out on the street and they ride your bumper telling (with me, trying) you to move faster to accommodate their busy important life.

Yea.....me and Jay decided there needs to be a change before the whole board goes woke......we believe there needs to be a section "for men only"....who believe in a Supreme Being but without the "machine" that drives it.......who are only nice when they believe another individual has earned it. Liberals need not apply. :D

Well....I have exciting news...went to Costco to buy bread and a couple of cooked chickens and came home with $250 worth of unneeded food....b...u.....t........a neeeeewwww toy.....a light work station when I split wood or other outdoor work after the sun goes down which is usually about an hour after we get up.

I live down a long private drive from a tiny village, no stores, no pub. Mainly conservative but a little bit tree hugging.
That light station would be frowned upon by some villagers as they are worried about light pollution..... :o We also get complaints about bonfires and noisy chainsaws. Yes the disease that causes Snowflakeism is spreading faster than the Chinese pox.
A few years ago some villagers paid a lot of money for Owl nesting boxes, we were given a couple of Barn Owl boxes so we put one up in the barn and one in a Chestnut tree. We were then told we shouldn't have put one in the barn  now its the only box left as all the others fell pieces due to being made of cheap plywood. same folks started putting Hedgehog boxes around the village, when I told them there are too many Badgers around for Hedgehogs to have a chance, I was told that was nonsense, still lots of Badgers and no Hedgehogs... Just how life is in old England now the countryside has been taken over by educated city folk.

Population density … 30 acres per person works out differently than 300 per acre in terms of rules, regulations, requirements, restrictions etc. Time in civilization increases all the above. One of my friends has a 500 acre ranch. He held a shotgun shoot on one end while there as a swim party at the other end.

This picture was taken on a 22,000 acre ranch. A ranch hand came out on an ATV to tell us the ground squirrels we were shooting were just hors d’oerves for the grizzly they chased off a couple days ago so we should watch out.

Now harry, he’s pretty remote!

We have the same problem here GK except it's bears and coyotes! The nitwits that 'prevail' think they are created animals and as such should be allowed to over populate the land. Just a matter of time before another bear mauls another dimwitted jerk with a camera.

Sitting eating my deer steak and eggs for breakfast with lots of company.
Got 5 dogs in the kitchen. Our middle son is gone to Florida (barf) for a few days so we are sitting their golden retriever and English bulldog. We got a house full. :D
Gracie, our new Shepherd pup, is doing fantastic. She is highly intelligent and is pretty calm for being so young. My wife takes her to work every day to keep her as socialized as possible. We also expose her to a lot of dogs. We don't want her as a focused companion, where Shepherds are kind of predisposed to this. She is very poised and seems to be a product of some breeding. Very pretty dog.
Anyway.....kind of a madhouse for the next few days. :D

Ya know GK.....I can almost understand Englands liberalism .......as you know the war made lasting memories in Europe and especially you guys during the blitz......dunno, maybe I'm missing something.....we are still cowboys over here...well...some of us.
Ya know that light I just bought?...sometimes I split wood after it gets dark...like from 5-8 pm during the winter. I can only imagine someone coming over here to tell me to,shut the light off and the gas engine on the log splitter. I've been known to finish cutting the grass after it gets dark if I get a late start....that Diesel engine with the headlights on.......screw em.....let em move back to the city if they don't like it....

liberals! I'm curious, what makes them think they know better? I've openly laughed in their faces here as whenever a storm, whether it's a hurricane, snow, whatever they don't know how to handle it. It my way of getting them back for the money they cost me.

22,000 acres= about 4 sections or in laymans terms, 4 sq miles. I wonder what Fred is looking at besides the camera. One side you see wildnerness and the side that is not shown comprises a lodge, t bar, hot tubs, parking lot, no-tell motel.....

Now....JAY is talking......got more animals than people in the house....never a dull moment......funny how each dog or cat will have "their own space" and another dare not enter it.

Got up early..10!!!!!!!!!!!.....gonna go outside and make lots of noise with gas engines.....

Well..parts of it..the furthest west I've ever been is Moab, Utah......did some Jeepin and could not wait to leave the "city of Moab"...Moab is nothing but an overpriced liberal city full of ex California hippies...Moab....."mother of African babies" is what a black guy told me at work when seeing my Moab bumper sticker. We both laughed...he was cool. Sometimes we'd share a cold beer in the back of the warehouse....he could hold a beer a foot from his face and pour the whole thing down without spilling a drop.

I'd open the valve up on the propane tank on our forklift to make a warm beer ice cold in 10 seconds....propane is -39. I made up a special tool for the tank just for such occasions. I'm used to doing what I want,,,,,but you knew that. :D also made up a "transfer tool" where I'd transfer the propane from our big tanks to my barbecue 20 pounders and even one pound camping tanks....people would always ask me how I was able to walk around with a thousand dollars in my pocket.

Fixed those bast..:$....making them pay my salary till me and mom are dead.

Still working on getting outside......it's a cold 38.....

Just wolfed down a plate full of mom's peach cobbler.....I'm lazy.......well, somewhat lazy....peed off that I now have to buy propane...where's Gunny? I knows he has a big propane tank out back I could "borrow"....you know, "midnight propane supply" ......same way we used to get car parts and batteries....at "midnight Auto supply"---------001 and 15/16's.

Only a hunnert pounder here, just for the cooktop. Actually Six if you look it up liquified petroleum gas is quite a bit colder than -39... The expansion rate is 300%. I used to use the propane hose at the lumber yard to kill the weeds inside the fill station, yup freeze the little buggers!

Had friends in CO with a 55,000 acre ranch, considered a ' gentlemans ' ranch. Their driveway was 8 miles long! One winter the whole family of 8 got the chicken pox, snowed in and the air national guard flew in supplies with helicopters. My roommate and I hunted a ranch for a whole winter for yotes, even driving we never saw a fence or property line!

Snowed most of the day here. Doubt it got above 34 here today.

Well, I spoke too soon this morning. :D

The wife comes home for lunch with Gracie today. She let's her out of the Cherokee to go over on the lawn to pee. I was over the old man's on a 30 foot ladder playing with the gutters and could see the whole thing.
Gracie decides that it would be great fun to see if mommy could catch her. Oh, it WAS great fun for her, running all over both yards, in and out of bushes, having a big ole time........
Until mommy caught her. THEN the fun stopped. She thought maybe daddy would still be her friend.......
She was wrong! Daddy is scared of mommy too, and was definitely siding with her. :D
Gracie saw the err of her ways and had a pretty quiet afternoon at the office. :D
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

Yea..yea....I hear you guys but I'm in a hurry to tell you something...

GUNNNY! You have channel 6 Action News? They are having a fundraiser for "Philabundance" the organization that provides free food for the parasites........they were interviewing the director, a well dressed black woman who was saying over and over how poor people need everyone's help.......as she was talking she was holding the last two fingers of her left hand and I even commented to my wife about it, "like, why is she holding half her hand?".....after several minutes she released it for 5 seconds and then grabbed it again......she had a rock on her ring finger the size of a walnut!.....people fall for this stuff......

If you don't have channel 6 try their website...amazing!

Whew! OK, on to business.....yea...blowing out the main valve on the propane hose is fuuuuuuuunnnn, especially when other people pay for it......sometimes in cold weather the hose would get an air bubble which caused it to stop filling....man! We'd point that baby to the sky and let loose and because we had an excuse we would continue to blast away.

Jay...you, me, Gunny, Tom and Old Savage KNOW that not much brings more happiness than a dog...or several of them......

Oh man! Again....Action News is reporting several shootings...one a 14 year old boy and someone shot the Rite Aid store THIRTY TWO TIMES! ...bullet holes all over the place...and they want US to pay for their savagery......

Crazy.....the school kids want police escorts to school....never ends.......and no one does anything about it....

Don't be too hard on Gracie, she probably has too much energy to burn.. Shirley's one eyed dog has the intelligence of a Poodle, the sporting instinct of a Spaniel and the energy levels of a whole herd of Mustangs... great fun though, friendliest dog I ever saw but a great watchdog with a bark that's twice her size.

Six, it seems that a lot of these people who run charities make a lot of money out of it :? Over here they get awarded with a knighthood or something too..
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

You fellows while aware are likely not being affected by the smash and grab tactics. We have had multiple incidents at the office building I have been in since 83 when it was high end. Couple pics here. Though there have been repeated incidents over the years we apparently need to do something besides bellyache and caterwaul.

You fellows are just seeing it at a distance and no real threat to where you are.

Gamekeeper.....is that how Elton John and Paul McCartney got their knighthoods? :D to me, knighthood should go to a soldier or a cop who put his life on the line for their fellow countrymen.

Fred.......I HAVE THE ANSWER TO THE SMASH AND GRABS.............just be nice to them and offer thoughts and prayers.

You'll see my way in the not-to-distant-future......as a student of psychology even you know the thought processes of mankind has never changed in a million years or however long we've been around.......if someone "smashes and grabs" I'll "aim and shoot". The people I've spent my life around are the opposite of the people you've been around. Bad people don't care about going to jail..heck, it'll be like a family reunion to them.....bad people don't care about any consequence except catching a piece of hot lead...period.

Ok Six, no one said be nice, now straighten up. It say be polite and you guys have continually misstated this in an attempt to be critical. In case you do not realize this you can be polite without being nice. You have all confused the issue. Do any of you have any explanation or excuse??? I suspect not.

Now, ;-) this was certainly not nice but it was polite in addressing the issue. Do any of you have any realistic, positive, effective suggestions??? Or just bellyaching and caterwauling on things you only see but don’t affect you. 😎

Are there any questions?

Yea...I'll give you a solution that's nice/polite/non condescending whatever.......take a baseball bat and politely tap them on the head, just nice enough to split their thick skull then gently throw the remains in a dumpster which is most likely a better smelling home than the one they came from. What more can you do for these kind souls?

On a real note we don't have that issue here......this all happened at the same time...I'll take these invaders waaaaayyyy before the kind you get.

Picture is kinda of funky.....mom says there are deer AT THE DOOR 5' away. By the time I got the iPad on they were gone but I managed to get a couple of shots with the flashlight on em...4 deer.....and as I was taking the picture Mr. Fox came to eat.

When 4 footed critters are at your door you can be absolutely sure there's no 2 footers out there......spray painting and shooting drugs.....but......we have to be nice to these sub human missing links. How's that for "being polite"?

Fred...use common sense...the "mob" has already destroyed their neighborhoods and they are creeping out YOUR way because nothing is left in their neighborhood.....they will inch their way night by night until YOUR neighborhood is destroyed then they will move on to the next area until they meet with people who think like me and their party will be OVER.

They are smashing and grabbing like crazy here in Philly.....just watched channel 6 news and four thugs got 40 thou.in jewelry.

No one does nothing.....the reduced police force, exacerbated by leftist ideology, has given these thugs renewed confidence in their jungle tactics....The remaining cops don't care..why should they when they have no back up from the prosecutors.

I don't care either.....the mob will only go to white businesses as they know what will happen when they even attempt to tread on white mans home turf where he lives....this isn't racist talk..it's the truth and until the powers in charge recognize this fact it's only going to get worse.

The whole truth of the matter is that it's not Asians....it's not Mexicans, it's not Arabs, it's not any other race in quantity except blacks and while the overwhelming amount of blacks are law abiding decent folk they fail to police their own.

Hey, I only just got up, it's already tomorrow where I live...

Being a country bumpkin, I rarely go to really big cities like London, so on occasions of going on protest marches ( handgun ban, Fox hunting ban )in the capital I was amazed at the stores that were clad in steel shutters, grills etc. The folks on the street didn't look like the stereotypical English Cockney either.
I suppose that in a culture that preaches kindness and consideration to everyone it's inevitable that some will take advantage knowing full well that anybody who gets in their way will be chastised for not being kind and considerate. Me, I try to be kind and considerate BUT only to those who are kind and considerate to me. Everyone else gets treated appropriately... probably would be arrested for protecting myself or my property but that would only give me the chance to voice my opinions on the nanny state country we have become..

Well, I guess I was misunderstood but it did seem to generate a surge in activity during my power down. The POLiTE is for HERE. What I advocate for the other areas won’t be found here.

We recently saw a couple cases play out. Ritenhouse was chased and attacked and defended himself. Eventually acquitted and will be suing multiple people for publicly mischaracterizing him.

In the other case we saw three men chase down what they thought was a thief I believe. One brought a gun to the confrontation and ended up being the aggressor and killing the guy. Those three are headed to jail for a long stretch, maybe life.

So misapplying solutions though it may seem satisfying doesn’t necessarily work out.

Now, :) I think I’ll go back and read the entertaining responses.
