I decided to build a revolver to my own specs.
The barrel is a 4" 357 mag that was never mounted. I sent it to Magnaport to be quad ported and crowned. Its now on its way to Tenring Precision to have the front sight milled out to accept the newer interchangable blades. Then itll be mounted on this performance center 627.
Prior to sending it all to TenRing I did a super nice action tune (DA Trigger pull is just over 5#), installed the TK CUSTOM target hammer and extended cylinder release.
Once I get it back it will be headed off to be Black DLC coated.

Nice project. Really looking forward to hearing updates and seeing range reports!
Is it possible to have the lawyer safety hole filled before coating?

I actually thought about it but I worry about the legal ramifications should I ever use it in a self defense scenario

Versus other ramifications of a SD scenario?
Your choice of firearm will probably not matter much , especially if a revolver.

More along the lines of "deactivsting" a safety mechanism
