Have you tried just bending the front sight a bit?
The front sights on these new ones are plastic and made as a unit with the plastic plug that serves as a muzzle. Nothing much to bend, though I have thought about shaving one side of the sight some.
On the Daisy 880, back in the day, we used to shim the barrel liner to front sight with a few wraps of electrical tape. You MIGHT be able to do something similar. If you can pull the front sight bushing you might be able to file on one side and shim on the other to move the barrel in relation to the front sight.

Well I feel stupid. We HAVE one of those and I just never paid attention to the front sight!

EDIT: Looking at our Red Ryder I do believe a person could bend the rear sight slightly to one side or the other. You would have to be careful not to break it loose from the housing.

My old Daisy had a sheet metal front sight that could be easily adjusted.

The Model 25 has the sheet metal front sight also.

Now that I understand how to adjust!! I may order one of those just because. It does have a rather large "lever" operated by the pump handle.

Mule deer hunting along the border near Sanderson TX (35 yrs ago) with a party of four. Late one afternoon my son (10 at the time) and I were sitting on the high side finger of an arroyo. Son had his trusty BB gun. Spotted a lone javelina working its way down the arroyo below us and unaware of our presence. When it got close enough, son wanted to know if he could shoot it. I said sure, aim for its butt. He hit and it took off running around the point of the finger opposite us. Shortly after, we heard bam, bam, bam, bam. At camp later that evening, the owner of the property (you had to know this guy) said he was charged by an angry javelina and had to protect himself (he always carried a hi power) – we were sure the javelina never saw him - son and I still laugh about this.

Howdy Folks!

I'm new to Leverguns.com, but this topic grabbed me right off! I'm 75 years old, and still shooting the Red Ryder I bought for our son when he was eight. Yes, it still works fine on rats in the ditch behind the house. Head shots generally kill, but a stun allows for a foot on the head, and a tail jerk to break a neck. The 'boy' is now in his fifties, and both his son and two other grandsons from our daughter have used it to get early intro to weapon safety and targeting skills. Thanks for letting me share, and pulling up happy times!

Thank you! I also own a Henry .22 LR lever, currently in 'safe keeping' with daughter's youngest, and an Uberti 1873 in .45 LC lever I once used for Cowboy Action, before a stroke and trembles in hands shut me down. New meds have me back on the range, and poking around in here! Feels good to be back!

Boys, I now have two Red Ryders and neither of them shoots to the sights.

So I went to the storage shed and got out my boy's Daisy Buck. It is a short little booger with fixed sights. I loaded it up with bbs and it shoots dead on the sights.

So, I made myself a Red Frankenstein Ryder by matching up that Daisy Buck with an adult size Red Ryder stock! I am in heaven. I can hit anything in my back yard now and am amusing myself by shooting acorns and small pebbles.

My "Adult" version Red Ryder is adjustable for elevation. A little Kentucky windage completes the transaction. Spent shotgun shells are DRT to about 50ish feet.

A bit different, but an interesting deal. Wish we could get something like this here in Coffee Country.

https://www.daisy.com/product/labor-day ... cket-shot/

A Daisy 25 pump plus a "Rocket Shot" that launches a beverage can for aerial shooting. Looks like a real hoot! The deal's only until the early part of October, by the way.
