since Md. is a shall issue , I signed up with ptp.com for my ccw permit. I already had my hql permit to buy handguns. It is a two part class first part is you watch three videos and take two tests via online at home then you take the range and qualification class at the range. that is a ten hour day, H e has been swamped, booked solid. good people .

I think it varies from state to state, but I think you can renew in ten years online without taking classes again, just need a new background check, just don't let it lapse, or you will have to do everything over again. Hgl license is same deal with renewal. here we can only buy one handgun every thirty days, but, if you get a gun collector permit, you can buy as many as you want at any givin time. You don't even need training or a hql permit for that. Kinda backwards I think, but that how it is here in md.

nope. md has no reciprocity with any state, but va will recognize md. hopefully there will be a ccw that is 50 state recognized. maybe thats the next step, will all the gun free zones in dc , and no carry on public transit or within 1000 ft of a protest. I think I just stay out of dc and stay here in md.
