Yellowstone Kelly

Post by Dusty Texian »

If you enjoy early frontier and hunting with Leverguns , I think you will really enjoy this book . I know I did . It is near amazing what he was able to do with his little 1860 Henry Carbine 44 Rimfire . ,,,,DT

In addition to being 'Cheyenne' on t.v., Clint Walker was 'Yellowstone Kelly' in a movie of the same name, from around 1959 or '60.

If you ever get the chance, don't go there.
Overlooks the industrial district & refineries. Power lines, cell tower, etc.
Not sure it's what the old plainsman would have felt comfortable around.
Just my opinion of course.

The cover art looks a lot like Powers Booth as Curly Bill Brocius in one of the "Earp" movies.

Dusty Texian, are you referring to the bear dog? I wonder how far away he was from the cavalcade. I wonder if maybe it was a big brown Newfoundland.
