Not sure what to call it.

Post by piller »

We have been having a long drought. Today we have had an excess of cumulonimbus clouds and a vertical precipitation of moisture. It jas been so long since I have seen this, that I have forgotten what to call it.

It may be a little late but you might consider building an ark.

Don't panic,
Genesis 9:13 I put my rainbow in the cloud, and it will serve as a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring a cloud over the earth, then the rainbow will certainly appear in the cloud. 15 And I will certainly remember my covenant that I made between me and you and every living creature of every kind; and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Would not normally know this, but just yesterday a Merchant Marine friend and I saw one, I believe he called it a thermal with a vortex. Said they were best to steer away from on the ocean.

Great spring here in NW Wyoming, we have been blessed with a lot of good rain. Still have the wind though. But maybe not as strong as around Wheatland!

We've had a very strange start to July. Normally it would be bone dry here, but today is the first day in a week or so where we didn't have a downpour!

Dry here in central Maine.

We had a decent thunderstorm yesterday though.

1.1 inches of rain, power out for about 5 hours, trees down all over town.
