I think that is a young pig .. fairly small. The bear would be average size probably.

I have told her that when the babies are playing outside to be with them. Armed preferably. Haven't seen bear tracks on her property in the last two years but that don't mean a lot.

Having a loaded rifle handy might be a wise idea. I do not know much about bears, but they are predators.

There are more reports of them here as well---We have Five little kids and three dogs living close by. If a bear shows up I have no choice but to use the 45-70 and follow the 3's program.....
