He also sent me a copy of this. On my last trip home from the Holiday I went to Adobe Walls and Billy Dixon’s grave.

Lots of good information there Scott! Hope you find time to read some of it. Mic and Jim W and Jim T are off to the Shootist Holiday, so we won't be hearing
from them next week I think. But glad they will be having a good time! -Tutt

That is really cool!! I was under the impression that Mic had retired. Is he still gunsmithing? Do you know if he had an apprentice?

He has retired from gunsmithing but he is writing new books all the time. -Tutt

Well good for him. He’s made the lever gun community stronger and more informed. Definitely a well earned retirement.
I recently saw a post with one of his L.A.W. muzzle brakes, and that sent me on a mission. I’m hoping to find someone who can create something similar. What a useful and beautiful design.

He told me recently he is thinking of writing a 2 volumn edition of Metallic Cartridge Handloading. Here's a knock off of his first generation LAW Brake. Maybe it could fit your application.

Thanks for the link, Tutt! I did contact Pacific the other day to see if they could make a custom brake. No reply yet, but hopefully soon.
I’ve recently bought a single stage Rock Chucker too. I’d be very interested in his books when they come out.

A few years back I wanted Mic to work on my Marlin 30-30CB, however, unfortunately he was having health issues and not taking any work.
I do have several of his books, first one is his Metallic Cartridge Reloading (very worn now).
