30-30 and 296

Post by elmo123 »

I have been looking at some mid 90's Winchester reloading manuals and they list 18.7 of 296 with a 110 jacketed bullet. Has anyone tried this combination?

It's been quite a while but yea I tried it. Didn't have any problems with it myself.

Acceptable. Found/bought other powders that were cheaper and better suited to what I was trying to do. Check out the 'Lighter bullets in 30/30' sticky in the reloading section over on MarlinOwners.com
