Forming 45-75 brass from donor brass

Post by Bearskinner »

I have managed to acquire a set of RCBS 45-75 Win dies. With a couple original pieces of brass to compare to, I have some once fired .348 win, and new 50-90 sharps, and 50 Alaskan brass. From what I have able to ascertain, the 50-90 is closest to original. If anyone happens to have some original brass, I would love to pick up some, purchase or trade.
Any tips on making this brass, would be appreciated.

Bearskinner, I can't offer advice, but that sure is a neat cartridge. Here's a long thread on this caliber:

Lots if information there. I should have all the brass in a couple days. I’ll measure everything with a caliper, and see what needs to be thinned, trimmed, and altered.
