Speaking of SAA "Bulldogs"

Post by Bill in Oregon »

We have all seen the Thunderer/birdshead grips on Colt clones, and I even curated a collection of cap-and-ball Colts shortened into "belly guns" and owned by the Southern Oregon Historical Society, but I cannot recall seeing an SAA with the traditional grip frame but the wood grips shaved/slimmed toward the butt to reduce the "printing" that gives them away. Anyone seen this?
