Primer Plant in Texas staffing soon-400 staff by 2023

Post by crs »

The old Lone Star Ammo plant in East Texas is gearing up to produce primers. Will begin hiring soon. This will receive attention soon, so watch for it.
It is a new company, not one of the old names in in ammo.

Sounds like they are in it for the long haul with $100 million invested. 8)

I went to one of my steady suppliers for reloading supplies today. Last time I was there I got large rifle primers for $8 per 100. Today, they were asking $150 per thousand and would not break a box open. I think it is time to find a new supplier. Looking forward to this getting off the ground.

With the Racket the current manufacturers have going, they will most likely buy up all the new companies product themselves.

I hope this works well. But to me the overriding unanswered question is: "At what selling price point?"

That's really excellent news.

Having only one or two companies producing primers is very dangerous to our 2nd Amendment rights.

Much easier for the government to control one or two companies than a whole slew of 'em.

I wish 'em the best.
