This might explain why there is a shortage. Sounds like Vandebrink has been lying all along. ... -inflation

Not surprising. There are probably lots of economic factors that are complicated by the regulatory environment and the political pressures.

As I've alluded to before, consolidation of ammunition manufacturers is NOT in in the average citizen's best interest.

And just maybe they had some quiet, behind the scenes lobbying influence to get the CHEAP offshore ammo banned to maintain the "shortage?"

I don't trust the bas$tard$ an inch. The ammunition market is being manipulated just like the oil market is.

Anit-trust laws?! They are no longer enforced in this country.......

Every industry is seeing consolidation, and most of it is indeed not good... at least not for the consumer. :evil:
