First deer season with an antique (73)
Had a blast packin some old iron this season. Let a little six point pass by to grow up, but he must have ratted me out. Its blackpowder season now, but all I have is smokeless.

Nice picture,and classic levergun .Dont hunt anymore but always enjoyed carrying a vintage rifle or carbine .
Often drew a sight on game and wondered how many past owners and where/what did the same .
Had an 1892 SRC one time that had many notches cut in the wrist as well as a crude deer head carving . One of the last hunts called in a spring gobbler and took it with the 38WCF .
