so I have been checking my guns. The .41 Magnum is my old Bowen sixgun. The .357 is an Old Model Flat Top that I picked up this year. They both seem to be working OK as long as I do my part.

Be sure to post the results and few pictures of the terrain would be good....
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Thanks. I used to be able to shoot pretty well. Since passing 75 I just have a real difficult time seeing the sights well enough to shoot tight groups. I got the bright idea this morning to try my new glasses and it was almost amazing! I could see fairly clear. The gun is capable of shooting 1/2" groups at 25 yards. The nut on the grip isn't up to it anymore.gamekeeper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 6:33 pm Jim, I forgot to say about your groups " good shooting " ......

I'm just hoping when I turn 75 I can still hit a piece of paper at 25 yards!
And I'm really hoping that we can all still shoot!

Best of luck!
Rooting for the Bowen! I've blasted a few varmints with mine, including one large one that thought it was going to have my little dog for dinner. The dog is just fine, aforementioned critter is in a hole on a PA hillside.
