Surprised this guy still has a thumb...

Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Oh come on you guys! the thumb was not in the sight picture.

BTW, we used to shoot big fish, king salmon especially because they might get knocked off the hook if we gaffed lip-hooked fish. So. one day a troller motors into secret cove seeking medical attention for a .22 diameter hole through his hand, which was in the sight picture, but the fish was moving and the water was moving and the boat was moving, and the fisherman got a case of tunnel vision and Bang. a bit of a mess and a lot of pain for that troller, and I don't know if he got the fish or not!

I wonder if that yahoo also wraps his left hand around the barrel-cylinder gap when shooting a revolver. Sheesh!

He won't do it for long if he does.
Back in the early '80's when the 454 Casull was introduced a fairly well-known lady hunter took one to Africa. Shooting game, she got her support hand forefinger too far forward and the gas from the barrel/cylinder gap removed most of the first part of her finger.

I'm surprised the barrel/cylinder gap does not bite more of the uninitiated, it is perhaps, undereported.

You'd think with his thumb where it was he'd feel the muzzle flash? Or you'd think his buddy videoing him would say something to him too?
