It is really difficult to give somebody advice that's not more dangerous than helpful when you can't talk to them face to face or do even a basic examination. There's potential money in doing so however, so it's kind of a thing these days. Even when it's a patient I've known for years and seen many times before, when I try to do things over the phone there is a great opportunity to make a wrong decision and give the wrong advice.

Now guess I should add that IF the patient can't or won't access a doctor the normal way, at least it's better than nothing. Usually if the telephone physician thinks they really need seen they will emphasize that to them and try to get them to be seen locally.
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Randy is a believer, trusting in Christ alone for the promise of a place prepared for him. He is in critical care in Las Vegas. He thinks his odds are 50-50.
.
If any prayer warriors are around he could use some support while the LORD sorts out his immediate future.
.
For purely selfish reasons I want him healed and around, but if the LORD takes him home, Randy will be thrilled forever.

thanks Scott. haven't heard for 11 hours, but his phone dies when not plugged in, and the nurse hasn't called, so all is well so far.
