Holsterbuilder.com- Finished with pics!

Post by GunnyMack »

So I'm working on a new moose hide nail apron. I'm making it a simple 2 pocket apron like the old canvas ones you got from a lumberyard. Anywho I was thinking about a simple way to attach it to myself for work. I had a lightbulb moment to use clips like on holsters. A quick look on Amazon has many different types listed. I settled on holsterbuilder.com, 10 bucks a pair of clips with needed hardware.
Just thought maybe some of you might be looking for this type of thing so hope this helps.

Great idea Gunny, that could come in handy for some other things too.

Post a picture of that moose hide apron when you can.

I used those to make a Kydex cell phone holster which is super tough and works great. Just think "concealed carry cell phone" and you've got the idea.

Got home from work a little early today so I made a basic stitching pony.

I've got 1 side stitched, working on the center pocket now.

Just finished up this basic nail apron. The moose hide is very supple and should be comfortable for years.

All hand stitched, drill press to punch holes, no pushing a needle through this moose!!
Not sure if I will dye it or not. I like Marvel Mystery Oil, nice red color.
