Savage 99 30-30

Post by Woodsloafer2 »

Anyone here have and use a Savage 99 30-30? Thinking of buying a featherweight carbine and would welcome any input you may have. Thanks!

Start saving, because once you buy your first, you'll want another. I have a 30-30 takedown in a Model 1899H made in 1913; great balance one-hand carry, quick to pull up and about 6 1/2 llbs.

A friend of mine had one, when I was a teenager, I always liked it. I have had one in 300 Savage and also .308 win, but always kind of wanted one in 30/30, however, they seem to be a lot harder to find in good shape.
