Prayers, Please: Daughter Has Covid

Post by Blaine »

She's about a week and a half into it. Super achy, headache and generally feeling like "pelosi". On no meds, never saw a doc and doesn't want to. No vax and never intends to. But, she's super strong, and in great shape and an outdoor person. Hikes miles and miles in the mountains. Good Kid...
Thanks! 8)

Even young healthy people do better if they treat EARLY before the cytokine phase. Fluvoxamine in particular, and ivermectin usually. I've one young person who a couple weeks ago said "doc, I'm just not a real 'pill person", and at 28 yo I didn't arm-twist; day nine she crashed and went from 'mild shortness of breath with stairs if too fast' to 'admitted and on ECMO because prone ventilation failed' 72 hrs later. If she survives she may have permanent neurologic and cardiac damage.

By the time symptoms scare the patient the young ones are often well into the cytokine phase and already fibrosing and clotting the risk...their pulmonary capillaries. I try to start I-Mask by day three if at all possible; the patient above didn't get her meds started until day 6 or 7 thanks to insurance delaying fluvoxamine, nebulized glutathione needing compounded, and the chain pharmacy refusing to fill ivermectin so she had to go elsewhere. All those little delays may have added up to death.

Sounds like your daughter made it past that phase but she shouldn't have taken the risk...!

Prayers up.

Not trying to drift the thread, just a reminder that ivermectin + zinc, Vitamin D3, Tonic Water, PQQ vitamins, and elderberry all help.

When I had CoVid back last Christmas, I couldn't get my wife to get me any of the necessary stuff, and I lost sense of taste and smell for a couple of weeks. If not for my son and my sister finally freaking out and getting me the stuff I texted to them, I am certain I wouldn't have survived. Amazon can deliver all of it. If you need to do that, then have it delivered as fast as Amazon can do it.

The shortness of breath for 6 or more months is scary. I couldn't walk ten steps without gasping for air for a month.

Hoping for a speedy recovery Blaine!

When I had it, my ER Doc friend had me get a little pulse/ OX meter from Amazon. It was about $35 or so. He had me check my oxygen levels several times a day and told me that if it gets below 90, go the the ER immediately. Fortunately, it never went below 93, but for $35 is was quite useful.

It wouldn't hurt to have her start some good vitamins to help her bounce back.
