browning model 71 mag tube

Post by Montana22 »

Getting ready to pull a browning model 71 mag tube out of my rifle and am wondering if it is a press/push fit or is it threaded into the receiver?
thanks

Been a long time since I had one of mine apart, but I believe it is threaded. A punch in the magazine cap retaining screw hole will turn it. Use Kroil if it's gunky.
