Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Interesting. The methylated version of Cathinone, Methcathinone, was the first methamphetamine successfully produced. It really is what started the meth epidemic. Naturally occurring events can sure seem strange.

I remember as a kid we had Cicadas every summer, the 17 year cycle they got worse. Maybe 15 years ago I had a bug problem in my lawn, I treated with Sevin to kill the grubs and haven't heard one since! My fault, dunno, maybe the combination of Sevin and this zombie drug but I do know in this area when the last 17 year cycle happened people were zombies from lack of sleep !

Out in the SouthWest corner of Kanss, we used to have the Cicadas every year. Not as brightly colored as the 17 year type, but they were loud. Houses and fenceposts would have the adult bugs on them every morning in June. Those empty shells from the underground stage would be wll over.

The Cicada'a have been gone for quite a few years.
I haven't heard one in ... I dunno how long.
I can hear them in my head all the time, even with ear plugs in.
I thought that it was so loud other people could hear them! In fact, one day my daughter said, "Have you ever heard so many in all the trees before?"
I thought she was talking about the noise in my head.
Instead, she was hearing actual Cicada's!!
AMAZING.
And I thought that they had disappeared from the earth.
Huh?
What's that you say?
Speak up!

The little half inch long type are around here. Loud as the 17 year type. Just not many of them.

The only species of Cicada in the UK is the New Forest Cicada and is classed as endangered and close to extinction.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.
