The guns of John Pedersen

Post by CowboyTutt »

I'm embarrassed to say I never heard of John Pedersen but he was quite the genius. There is some very interesting gun trivia in this video. -Tutt

Thanks! That was great. I love my Model 25. Now I know who designed it. Very cool.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Being that the first guns I collected back right out of high school were Model 12 variations, I knew well of Pederson's involvement with Remington Arms Co. through his pump rifles, and the Model 10 shotgun. And of course the Pederson device that most everyone knows him so famously for. But I didn't know of his work with improving the Browning designed guns, nor heard of Browning's compliment to his firearms genius.
I enjoyed the video, and it brought back fond memories of the many Model 12's I owned, and foolishly sold as I got into more expensive guns. Wish I'd kept at least one or two, as they're one of the finest .22 rifles ever built.
