Learnt a new word

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Watching a good older movie last and the young character said when he was in Colorado, he "clumbed" up Pikes Peak!

Also watched Bridge at Remagen, a few nights ago, along the Battle for Tawari.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

That same character got in a fight with his older brothers soon after that.

I've been binge-watching Ray Donovan on DVD (checked out from the local library).

It's violent, crazy and gives me bad dreams about being a criminal. But it is very well written and I simply cannot wait to see what happens next.

I need to go back to something simpler and better for my well-being. Maybe I should watch Winchester 73 with my son this weekend.

It would appear as if a few of us remember that scene. I would bet that most members here would be familiar with the name of the movie.

I love that movie. I think that John Wayne played that just right in light of the way gunmen were often thought of at the time.

I felt the same way watching "Sons of Anarchy."

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.
