Quite a colorful career ... :D I have seen his photo but not read about his life, thanks for sharing.. 8)
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

He was quite an interesting man. Like some, it sounds as if he had a good sense of humor in addition to everything else.

I, too, have seen and studied that famous studio portrait, but did not know much more about Nat Love. I'll have to find a copy of his memoir.
