Winchester Model 64 Teardown

Post by ordiedb »

I recently received my granddads Winchester Model 64, standard model, in .32 WS. This one was made in 1935. It does not have an extended magazine. Finding technical information is tough, partly because typing in"64" floods the internet with Model 70 pre 64 information. Is this rifle a takedown? I would like to find some video or printed material concerning the disassembly, and also the takedown procedure if it in fact is a takedown. Also, does anyone know the correct size of hood for the front sight?
