Post by 6pt-sika »

Stopped by the shop today and saw a used but fairly nice S&W Model 41 . So after yesterday I decided I needed a pick me up and bought it !

Looking forward to seeing some small groups. That’s really clean. I got to shoot one a couple of years ago. Super accurate.
Kind regards,
Tycer

It’s kinda faded looking but that might just be aging and grunge . I’ll clean it up Monday or Tuesday and see if it improves any .

Very nice!

Back when there was an OSU pistol club, I put a lot of rounds through a few of those. Even after years of use, they would shoot circles around the High Standards we also had. Though they had been in inventory even longer than the S&Ws.

Time for some group therapy.

That is a classic gun that is nice for someone who appreciates it to acquire.

I e got I think about 8,000 rounds of Norma TAC for the 22 rifles and a few bricks old WIN Wildcat and a few bricks REM Thunderbolts for the 22 revolvers . Hopefully one of them will work in the 41 .

Not exactly the same brands, some overlap, but very similar amounts to what I found the other day when I was looking to give some to my Sister and her Husband. They now have enough to practice some.

I don't remember the ones we had being overly picky about ammo. We shot boxes and boxes of standard velocity Remington and once and a while the pistol team would leave their locker open and we'd pirate a few boxes of Eley. :D
