That's a great sight to see.. :D
I'm lucky that I live near a Steam Railway, " the Watercress Line " when the winds right I can hear the whistles.

As you can see, a lot more than Steam Trains.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Glad ya enjoyed them, these loco`s don`t have whistles heck they don`t even have throttles ya have to regulate the speed by how much load you put on which makes them hard to control.
This is the only double header using these locos i`ve ever seen and happy to have done it, when everything is just right you can get a 30 minute run with them. :)

It has six alcohol wick burners under the boiler, tank is under the cab and can be a fire hazard.

That was a great way to let off a little pressure. I showed my wife, and she watched it. She is just not much into youtube, but she liked that.

Some real beauties there, Lenn. Loved the "odd ball pop-pop boat"! 8)
Didn't you build a large iron-ore hauler like the ones you and Norma saw up in Duluth, or am I thinking of something I saw over on the Mamod steam forum?

That's awesome Lenn!!

My late father would have sat there for hours watching that -- with a G&T in his hand for sure.
