A dose for what's ailin' ya ...

Post by Bill in Oregon »

I had somehow missed the fact that our own Rev. Taylor has a book out on the development of the .480 Achilles. Just ordered my copy from Amazon.
I think reading about this swell cartridge in these troubled times is just the medicine I need. 8)

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Now that would be a great thing to have happen. Especially now.
Jesus got violent with the sellers who were making a profit in the Temple by forcing the worshiper to buy sacrifices from them. It does not seem that a Preacher would be prohibited from defending the faithful from danger. That is my opinion.
