Elk Tag!

Post by jkbrea »

Wyoming draw results are in. I put in for a general tag (any elk) and a reduce price cow/calf. I got the general tag! Now I'll be planning and obsessing for months! :D :D :D
This will be my 22nd year, I believe, hunting Wyoming. About 18 elk taken. Man, this never gets old!

If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

I usually take a couple rifle and switch out. Marlin XLR in 45-70 and a Tikka 30-06.
I don't reload. I've been really successful with the 45-70 Leverevolution stuff and for the 30-06 I use 180 grain Nosler Partitions.

Jackson Hole area. Usually just west of Jackson in Wilson area or east of town on the Hoback River.
