OT - Wildcat listing

Post by mikld »

Could anybody tell me of a website or book that deals with wildcats; naming parent cartridges? For example listing all wildcats built on .223 brass?

I've wondered that before, and not just for 'wildcats' - theoretically, one could make a chart like a 'family tree', and the only 'root' cartridges would be those actually NOT based on some other one necked up/down or otherwise just re-formed somehow.
