OT-Old photo of young "cowboy" that has everything!

Post by rangerider7 »

This young man must have chose all the cowboy props the photographer had in his shop for this photo. Those items are worth a fortune today in that condition even though that is not my cup of tea. I like them with a history.

What --- No Winchester & Bowie Knife...??? A quirt would be handy, too.

Chaps are Angora GOAT; not sheep. Mighty good to keep a man warm in a Wyoming or Montana winter.

Those chaps sure wouldn't make much noise riding through the brush. Come to think of it, a fur coat and pants would be ideal for hunting. I was in the local antique store last week and they had a whole rack of fur coats. I just occurred to me right now that my wife could make me a pair of serious quiet hunting clothes. The only downside would be all the other hunters taking pot shots at me. I guess a fellow could dye the fur blaze orange! :D

Which, Buck, the goats or the sheep?
Take yer pick... I'd suppose "airdale hide" might make good winter chaps too, if you could find a couple dogs big enough to donate the raw materials...

The chaps in the photo are Angora GOAT...

Ain't that what they call a "Michigan Divorce?"

Buy the wife a fur coat and take her bear hunting...?

Woolies... very common in the Wyoming -Montana region... I never owned any but have heard they are a very good item to own if you have to cowboy in the dead of winter up there.
always press the "red" button--- it's worth the effort and the results can be fun

You Montana boys are just partial to sheep that's all. I didn't think that was the case in Wyoming though.

The only use I have for sheep is their WOOL...

Other than that, they're just range maggots.
