The Mrs. w/ a blackbuck

Post by 86er »

Not to be outdone by CRS, she decided she should have a blackbuck too.

Thanks to DUFF L BAG for the 45 Colt rifle that fired a 300gr Cast Performance out 117 yards to knock this guy down. Do I have to tell you the bullet went through broadside on the 80 something pound critter?

There were 3 "black" bucks, but they were introduced a while ago. This guy was born on the ranch and will not turn black until he is around 4 years old and only in the winter. He was 3 when he was taken. Don't want him to inbreed since that is what would be on his mind next month.

I thought the terrain looked familiar. We have a place near London in Kimble County. Where'bouts are y'all?

Very Nice!

I didn't know that they were yellow before they fully matured. That's neat.
