Re: .22 Mag Cylinder Swap to different Ruger Single Six?

Yep, the sights were not that crisp for me today, either. I kept loosing the front sight. I didn't shoot that great to start with, but adjusted the windage a little. I decided to check it out closer and run a cleaning rod down the barrel and tried to hit the edge of the cylinder holes, but I didn't ...

.22 Mag Cylinder Swap to different Ruger Single Six?

I have a blued Ruger Single Six, which I bought used without a Magnum cylinder. It doesn't shoot that great with the .22 long rifle cylinder. I mean it's ok but not outstanding, but I would like to have a throw around .22 mag Ruger and I don't want to use one of my other Ruger single sixes for this....

I have owned both and killed deer with both. But now days, I just own a few 45/70's, but I wouldn't have a problem with a good 444. Personally, i think the 45/70 is the best choice and so many more rifles are chambered for it. And if you do not handload, the 45/70 is easier to find ammo for and has ...

I think the 30/30 has to have the title of most popular caliber, and the Winchester 94 as the most popular leveraction rifle. My favorite round for the 30/30 is the old 170gr Silvertip. The Silvertips seem to be the best at hitting hard and opening up fast. Way back, about 30 years or so, I bought a...

Well, the guy had some good points as far as they went.
