i liked when the assistant director, who admits he said the gun ' was cold' but didnt check it, said that he thought the armorer had " opened the hatch and rotated the drum " to make sure the gun was empty.

and now i know i have been using the wrong terminology all these years !!

here in alaska an astra ‘ terminator’3” 44 magnum, 6 shot - basically N frame size but with grip shape that fits my hand better

i have a nice original winchester 73 musket with bayonet, but nothing like that condition. i also have the uberti reproduction musket and bayonet, which does look like that.

There is a limited edition replica of the NewTowne matchlock being currently made and I am sorely tempted That's a handsome piece.. 8) when I was at Westley Richards we sold a lot of genuine antique matchlocks from India, many were still loaded :shock: I never fancied owning one of the Indian types...

I wonder if ferrocerium, that stuff that camping fire making sticks are made from, would work? It is not as hard as steel and it throws some good sparks. for me. what worked best after major back surgeries was to be up and on my feet as much as i could tolerate....sounds wrong, but it isnt -- the soreness and pain diminshed fast for me , doing that.
