the folding leaf express sight appears completely intact and that is a valuable sight itself.
the bore may clean up and for that matter it may shoot well, regardless.

nice gun, has ' real character' and very appealing look. someone should grab it and put it to use.

i have an original 95 carbine in 30/06 with the lyman sight

that gun is a 'one hole' shooter with my favorite load. one of my most favorite rifles. has excellent balance and handling

yes, some have short chambers, some have very short , tight throats. mine is a 1980's browning.... i got a throating reamer and had the throat re cut. worked fine after that, and is extremely accurate

it was a common problem with the miroku rifles. usually an easy fix.

i would probably still go to medical school, though, i might stay with the MD/PhD program i was starting in, and just do research.... ibut i would miss doing the hands on work with patients.... so maybe i would not change much after all

i hear you and know quite welll what you mean. sold my interest in my practice and closed that deal a little earlier this year [ price was a fire sale....what i expected in this election year and covid year ] [ the last 3 years have done about 40% more work each year, in order to make 60% less money...

never have seen a rolling block in 32/20... that is neat ! i did pick up a uberti rolling block in 357, that is quite dainty. it should be a fun little shooter too. the only 32/20s i have now, are pumps: remington model 25s [ a carbine and a rifle ] and a marlin model 27 pump. they are amazing small...
