I snagged 5 boxes of CCI .22 WRF for my Rem. Model 12 today at a local flea market. Just checked online out of curiosity, and lo and behold, CCI is showing it in stock. Thought I'd let folks know.

Dont know diddly about working on them yet, but I have a minty Savage 1914, a Marlin 20a, and a Rem 12CS. Still havent found a good deal on a Winchester.

I'm still studying, but so far I think it's a 3rd model. The ser no is several thousand past the the number given by Bluebook as the start of hardened cylinders. Not sure if that is a reliable indicator or not.

I've had the .32 bug for a while and been craving a .32-20 in some form. This one will do nicely.. Early/ mid 1920s. 2 factory Winchester, and the rest are reloads for recycling

For sure. In my region it is accepted the the bow didnt show up till around 800 AD. A modern invention.

Assuming you are confining your choices to leverguns, this is another plug for the best 2. Win 9422, and Marlin 1891, 92, 97, 39, an 39a.

Lucky you!!! Being able to shop in the KTP. I was able to spend an hour or two in there as a teenager on family vacation forty some years ago. I never got over it. Hope to take one more tour someday.

I have done that with every one of my regular Blackhawks except for one which I replaced with a Bisley hammer. That was quite a bit more work. My Rugers all have superb trigger pulls, like 21/2 lb pulls with zero creep. They are a joy to shoot and perfect for bustin' steel gongs. Probably a bit lig...

These are hugely popular with the CAS crowd. Even to the point where they change the Colt style hammer on clones to one that matches the Ruger profile... I bought some SBH hammers a while back hoping to do some R2ing. Got tired of not having the time, so I hit up my gunsmith. Picked em up today. Tickled pink. Waaaaay easier on my short thumbs. Grips next.

I too have a standard pistol grip 30-30 20" from 1980 that I hope to Marauder, including a switch to a straight buttstock. I havent had time to see how feasible (costly) that would be. I also have a factory Texan from 1980 with the 18.5" barrel. The forearm is much slimmer than the old one...
