Yup Oskar is half shi-tzu and half King Charles Cavalier/Javanese. We are pretty fond of the little toot. He is 8 months old. We just added a third guy; little Theo is half Pomeranian and half poodle. Our Aussie, Bella, has her hands full with these two clowns. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b356...

These are sure tempting. There's one in a local shop, standard carbine with MicroGroove rifling and a Lyman peep for $400. I'd rather have a Model 8 in .35 though.

Blaine, I'm not much of a Taurus fan. Their warranty support is very good, but after working part time at the gun counter at Sportsman's Warehouse for two years, Taurus was by the far the most prone to breakage and in need of said service, especially their revolvers.

Help a pard who is going nuts here. The first time I encontered the Bulldog in print was wither in a Gun Digiest or a Guns Illustrated, probably dating to the 1970s or 80s. Might also have been a Stoeger Shooter's Bible. The article was by an author named McCready, McReady, something like that. I rem...

Didn't want to hijack Ambracol's thread on the elegant Feinwerkbau with this low-end air gun, but boy these little Crosman 2240 CO2 pistols are fun to shoot and easy to mod. I fitted this one with the steel receiver and carbine stock from Pyramyd, a 14-inch .22 barrel off eBay and a Bugbuster 3-9 sc...

The rifle and the accoutrements are simply lovely. I am sure you will get that rifle to shoot, Hondo, and it sounds like you have the patience and experience to do so. Really love the stock architecture and the style of the iron furniture.
