The extended cab ranges are good trucks. I used one for my work vehicle for years. It finally started to age and traded up to an F250 with a V-10. Fortunately, it died just before gas prices took off and switched to a V-6. But I sure miss the Ranger.

Given the choice of "just" those two. The .44 mag. Like some have said, it's capable of wild to mild. But, my personal preference is .45 Colt. Just as down loadable (is that a word) as the .44 mag, but has a bit more oomph at the top end.

Griffith Park in Los Angeles near the Autry museum has this group of trains that you can sit on about 2 ft high and the aficiondos that run them as a hobby. Yep, the "Live Steamers" have some nice stuff. Great place to take a kid, time after time after time. They never seem to tire of it.
