I know most everyone has more than 1 in their safes. I went to the range this morning, and brought along 3 of them. Someday I would love to add a Marlin 39A to sit next to my Winchester 9422. What is your favorite .22, mine is my 23" Barreled Winchester model 63 with a Williams peep attached. M...

My personal favorite is the 170 Grain Hornady Flat Point. In my mind I would like to try the 150 grain speer due to a little better range, but the Hornady just simply keeps working for me. Whitetail Bucks just hate that Bullet !

I read somewhere that the .22 Mag in a rifle would be an extremely good survival gun. I have one in a Ruger 10/22, and I was suprised to see them selling on GB for close to 1K. Must be a rare rifle I paid 125.00 for years ago!

40-90 yards for 80% of Rifle shots. There is always that chance that makes me nervous with my 30-30 with the 200 yard Big Oak ridge shot. I need to see if I can make that shot with a 30-30 or Just bring my .308, but the 30-30 just feels better in my hands. Every year I see deer moving at that distan...

I usually blow up some Balloons, and set them in a sand pit down the road. Free hand from 40-200 yards. My favorite rifle to shoot is my Winchester 64A with a 24" Barrel. It is a Balloon killer!

Depends on how much you shoot and what you shoot. +1 If all you buy each year is a Box of shells for Deer Hunting it may not be worth it as the initial cost to get started is expensive. On the other hand if you are an Addict like most of us not only do you save money, but the Hobby itself is as fun...
