One reload... Hi Nath - How hard is it to get reloading components in the UK? Does buying components require special licensing? Not to hijack your post, but it got me wondering... Hello old friend. Not many hoops to jump through reloading wise. They are supposed to ask to see your licence wh...

Re: I wonder how many of these were 'liberals'...???
I can remember reading a short story, back in the late 70's, that had a plot along the lines that you would get a million dollars (or some large amount) but someone you did not know well would die. The person debated vigorously, and finally decided to do it. Almost instantly a knock on the door, and...

Agreed - .44 Special is much less harsh, noise-wise, than anything other than a subsonic suppressed 9mm.

The people most at risk are the ones living in the deep south because their homes are simply not built in a way to protect from extreme cold. Friday's low in Little Rock was forecast at 3°. Correct! Even on "newer" homes, they are just not insulated like they are up north. Commercial buil...

Wonder if this will be called the "January 14th Insurrection"?
Will they get the same treatment as the "January 6-ers" got?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Supposed to be lows in teens here early next week. May not sound cold to many of you, and I certainly remembered it for the first half of my life, but down here, it is cold and dangerous. Dangerous on pipes, and dangerous if it ends up icing the roads and powerlines. It will be good days to stay in ...

Bottom line, we need the NRA. It is/was the most effective Second Amendment protection organization in the country, or at least the one most feared by the leftist trying to take away our rights and take away this country's freedoms. That is what we need again out of the NRA. The focus needs to be on...

Yelled SWMBO (a.k.a., "Mrs. YK"). "Nothing, honey" I yelled back from the basement. That was embarrassing. Recently I picked up an old "Lee Loader" for the .45 Colt off ebay. Decided to give it a whirl over the holidays. Read the instructions, questioning them a bit whe...

I'll be hitting 60 this year. I have to smile a bit over all the responses, having had the same journey that many of us apparently had. I was a recoil junkie in my 20's, hand loading .44 Magnum rounds for my Ruger Super Black Hawk that were more than a bit "hot". Had some loads where I had...

YK, that is something. I belonged to Ancestry for a year and built up a pretty good tree for about 6 or 7 generations. I had a big framed posture made up. Find A Grave comes up often in "hints" through Ancestry.com. I really like it. Having read some great (informative) obituaries, and some terrible ones, when I wrote my Mom's obituary a couple years ago I wrote it for her family and friends now, but to be a resource for our descendants a hu...

I try to go through all the hints with at least one person each day. Sometimes there are few hints and I can cover a nuclear family unit. Other times it is just the one. Bill, The prices are creeping up on the Yugoslavian stuff. Nope - especially since you are unloading it before getting into a vehicle or climbing over a fence. I'd much rather miss a shot at game then accidently put a round in me or a companion. Taking an extra second for safety is always worth it!
