After seeing the post about the new Pedersoli 71/86 it looks like there are people listening to what is wanted in the marketplace. I sure don't want a fancy 94 with a rebounding hammer. .

Wow,That's a beaut! Thank You Steve. Did You ever Hear back from EMF about them Yet? just last week I contacted Turnbull's about converting an '86 extra-lite to get rid of the rebounding hammer and saftey. no need to go that way now. wonder when these will be available?.

Chas,the Forschner knives made in Switzerland are very good. they are not "custom" or "miracle" knives but with care will stay sharp for along time. treat them right and like any other tool they will perform. I highly recommend a butchers steel, or one of the diamond coated steel...

From what I have seen the Burgess is one fine looking lever. Once You get it right these old fans are too cool . We have a big black Emerson from the '40's that came out of My Grandmothers house. 4 speed, gear driven and weighs about 25lbs. it really move some air.

As i related last year I won a 1895 45-70 that had a chip out of the stock up near the right tang. I called Marlin and a very professional Lady took all my information. five days later a new very nice butt stock arrived at My door. :o . Yep if You know someone in construction it pays to buy Them a Beer now and then. An extended Family member was working on a crew at a local hospital. called Me up to come get some lead from an x-ray room tearout. I now have 470lb of lead waiting for some attention. . It should Keep Me busy.

In My Marlin CL, 115gr Lazercast over 10 gr of 2400 go thru the Chrony about 1750fps. Hornady 100gr XTP's over 14.5gr of H110 run around 2100fps. I have loaded the Lazercast with 7625 from 800-1300fps. these two bullets would do anything I would want from the 32-20. this rifle is a favorite of Mine.
