Thanks, guys. To clarify a bit, the united States is definatly worth fighting for, and I would give my life to defend this land, heck, I'd even stand watch on the borders with my 03-A3, BUT I will not fight for some banksters or whoever owns the paper on this United States!

I've also got a couple '94s, a '77 with a scout scope setup and a 1941 vintage that's still as tight as it came from the factory with only cosmetic problems, ie. worn blueing. Near as I can tell, the '41 is still all original.

Sorry for no pics. When I got it, there was no barrel mounted rear sight with a dove tail blank installed on the barrel "band', and had a Lyman 57 w receiver sight. The bottom edge of the 57w windage screw had been flattened off so the elevation could be lowered enough to hit the target at 100 ...

Griffin & Howe W94 side scope mount?
My brother picked one of these up at a local gun show and asked me what I could find out about it, so far haven't found much. It's has a date of Oct. '31 on it and looks like it was made for side mount on Lever guns. Anybody here know anything about it? TIA

Re-barrelled, reblued Win 94 in 32spl with 24" octegon barrel made in 1905. Hasn't been shot much since re-barrelling, action still rather tight with little setback. Wood still in very good condition. Sorry about no pix, brother has it in another state. TIA

If you remove the forearm and mag tube, you will find a number stamped on the flat of the barrel. That will at least tell you the barrel age and get you closer to year of manufacture. I'm kind of leary of taking the forearm and mag tube off, I've heard it might be rather difficult to get them back ...

Just picked up a Winchester 94, SN #1333***, which I just ran through the Win. Serial Number site, and came up with Manufacture date of 1943 through 1948. I was told it was made in 1941.
Can anybody here help me narrow it down a bit?

I've been using a load of 9.0gr TB with Hornady 86gr JSP in my Winchester 30/30 for a few months now with pretty good results out to 50yds so far. Haven't tried it out to 100yds yet.

I use 9.0gr Trail boss with the Hornady 86gr JSP made for 30 Mauser pistols. It's good out to at least 50yds and ought to be useful for game up to dog size. HTH
